As the daughter of two teachers, teaching has always been a part of my life. My personal journey as a teacher started in my hometown in Wisconsin, where I taught dance classes to kids when I was basically a kid myself — just 16 years old!
It continued at the University of Minnesota, where I completed my B.A. in English and German with a focus on Teaching.
From there I moved to Frankfurt, Germany, where I worked as an English teaching assistant at a middle school. This was my first hands-on experience teaching English as a foreign language, and I absolutely loved it!
After a year I was off again — this time to Berlin! I started teaching English at a few private language schools, working with kids, teens, and adults and discovering my passion for teaching kids in a fun, playful way. Alongside all that English teaching, I completed my M.A. in German Language Instruction and started teaching German, too.
After seven years in Germany, my Israeli partner and I relocated to Tel Aviv. I now write and edit for Yoel Geva's English department and work as a private English teacher for kids and teens. I’d love the chance to show your kid how fun learning English can be. Let’s set up a trial lesson!
